The Golden Age of Comics

This infographic is focused on the origins of the comic book medium and it outlines and features the prevailing styles and trends of the various eras with a timeline of the most notable titles at the very bottom tracing comics from its Golden Age to the beginnings of the Silver Age. In preparation I conducted a large amount of research into the evolution of the industry, diving into the different trends in genres and art styles and the various societal, economic and political reasons that spurred them.
